I have been a PA for 26 years. I worked in Emergency Medicine from 1998 to 2007. I then transitioned to Family Practice in July 2007, which opened my eyes to the amount of sickness among our patients. In 2010, I adopted a functional medicine approach while still working for a family practice group. By 2017, I registered with the Institute for Functional Medicine and completed their educational modules by 2018. In July 2021, I joined the FLCCC and treated over 1,200 COVID patients via Telehealth in NJ, NY, PA, and Florida. I continue to support the FLCCC protocols, primarily focusing on treating Long COVID and COVID-related injuries. Additionally, I maintain a small group of patients in NJ who book appointments with me for health counseling and acute care.
I aspire to further expand my Telehealth practice and perhaps establish my own practice someday. Currently, I still practice conventional family medicine for a large group in NJ, under a practice agreement with a physician. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I currently take no insurance, I have no EHR, I use paper charts, that get scanned into my personal Hard drive, not linked to any cloud system.
